What does this car say about you?

I cant afford a 5 series. I have no concern for the environment. I'm not a badge snob.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Girlfriend likes driving but hates parking. Parents say its too fast and I should have something more sensible. Friends say 'you paid how much?'

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, you cant beat the equipment, ride quality and power for this much money. Nees to be serviced regulary.

What are you likely to buy next?

Jag XJR or S type R. Luxury barges that see of hot hatches without breaking a sweat. Very regal. LPG conversion a must though.

I bought the car on ebay... no one else bid.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was cheap as chips.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly. Seemed genuine but that's thier job.

What's it like to drive?

Very smooth. Just wafts along. Great handling around the bends with plenty of reliable oversteer to put a smile on my face. Despite packing 210 horses it's a bit slow (7.7 to 60) it really needs to be revved hard. It will see off all of those boring diesel rep mobiles though and pulls great off the line.

What's it like to park?

A nightmare! Despite good visibility it's the size of a small country. The turning circle is pretty good though.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Coil Pack, Front Swing Arms, Electric Seat jammed, Cruse Control, Spark plug dethreded.

What's most practical about your car?

The rear legroom and the enormous boot. The LPG conversion means I average 55mpg compared (price wise) with diesel. I'd like to see a 530d manage that.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Brilliant built in sat nav, computer and audio all controled via steering wheel. Auto presets for seats and mirrors (including the rear view) means sharing the car with the girlfriend is easy. Electric rear blind is handy in the summer. Zennons are good in the winter as are the heated wash wipe nozzels.
