Vauxhall Tigra 2004-

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Lovely fun car : esp on b roads or local.
Summer roof down fun.
Huge boot if roof up, roughly the size of a Ford puma in back. Roof down , boot size fots 2x small suitcases on sides
Huge rear parcel shelf behind seats , glove box , cubby hole, drink stand, change holder, console space .

Winter time: heating the car is pretty quick but not instant, but omg even on half heat your in a sauna .
Aircon works in summer roof up.

It returns a good fuel economy £13 return Lowestoft to stowmarket (uk) @ 1.40ppl petrol.
Parts are cheaper being Vauxhall : £60 gets u mintex disks and pads set. £45 gets you a pair of wishbones. Etc

Headlights need a brighter headlight upgrade, as standard they are low compared to new cars.

The drive is smooth and clean on general roads but alot of feedback on steering and pedals , so no guessing on road cond. engine noise is nice and not so loud you can’t hear your stereo clearly. However , be prepared on rougher roads to feel the rally sport feel driving experience , with roof down ; upgrade that to gocart experience. Personally I like it: make me feel like a 20 year old again lol (it’s like a tiny jeep tbh )

Get a good cond one with good engine and this is a car worth the money. . Not many cheap to run, cheap to fix metal roof full convertibles exist, let alone with real practical boot space and a great safety rating.

I’d not advise anyone over 5’10 to buy it though, 5’10 and blow is good head clearance but above that you will struggle as there is nowhere for the seats to go.
Over 6 feet tall and (it’s not the car for you unless you drive roof down 24/7 lol

Of the 68 cars I’ve owned , I’d say this is the 5th best car if I take all of the above in consideration .

In a cost of living crisis or for young drivers struggling to find a fun car they can afford : I’d reccomend this : esp as it’s ULEZ compliant at the time of this post.

Why pay huge sums for premium pop brands that have less or the same tech , when u can get a full spec lower end car for a couple of grand ?

My recommendation
Def go check one out and don’t be put off by the peer pressure of a standard brand, brands ain’t that important
