In their own words

Honestly… there’s no other car quite like this on the market. Forget your BMW’s and your Jaaaag’s. Nothing comes close. It’s not refined, quiet or smooth in anyway shape or form.
Driving normally it’s perfectly respectable (provided it’s got a standard exhaust- mines switchable from quite to deafening)
You’ll average about 20mpg in town and a respectable 30/32 mpg sitting at 70mph.
Putting your foot down is a whole different ball game. I’d liken it to poking a lion with a pointy stick. There’s a reason they’re called hold-on’s.
It’s quick… really quick. Keeping up with 90% of the high performance cars currently on the market and it’s a pensioner.
Tax is a firm kick in the testicular region… but it’s ulez exempt which is hilarious.
Top speed of how brave are you really? Apparently it’s 155 but I lacked the required stones to find out. Does not take long to get up to speed tho, the needle just keeps climbing and it moves fast.
Great fun to drive, intimidating to look at and the noise! What a noise it makes! Cold starts make passers by jump.
Don’t buy one of these if you plan on attracting women. It will be a total sausage fest… guys love having a yap about what it is etc. definitely a petrol heads car. Not a fanny waggon unfortunately.
The interior is alright for what it is, leather seats and all the bells and whistles you could want, it’s not lavish but it does the job.
Power makes up for all the minor flaws, putting on you big boy pants and turning the traction control off is seriously good fun. It’s manageable and not as scary as you would think. It gives you great feedback and sideways action. Incredible fun, perhaps not for the passengers tho…
Vxr8’s are now really thin on the ground. You never see them on the road and rarely at car meets or shows.
Overall it’s not dirt cheap to run but it’s bags of fun.
