As with all Golfs it has kept its value well.

Quicker than the Mk 4 Golf 1.6.

Living with it
Reliability
Has now done 140 k miles and is beginning to show problems. Doesn't like starting in heavy rain. Have not had any major costs. Clutch is fine but now needs new shock absorbers and rear axel brushes.
