bit of a boy racer? appreciate a good car rather than just a good looking car. massive gti community, every one else in a gti is now your best mate!

friends loved it

instantly fell in love with it, despite the problems that come with one that hasnt been looked after. didnt realise how mush i missed it untill i sold it!

i got a fiar deal. it was cheap but wasnt in the best condition.

What's it like to drive?
fantastic. not extremely fast. is put to shame by 16v and vr6 but still great to drive fast enought, good sports seats manoverable. take it on long trips and you'll see why the call in a grand tourer! stable at high speeds got it up to 130

Have you had any problems with the car?
thermostat. rocker cover gasket. horn and ecu relay. but my car had not been serviced very often at all when i bought it
What's most practical about your car?
big enough to carry everything small enough to park easily and zip in and out of traffic
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
wasnt great on that stuff though it had all the basics e/w e/sr e/m pas. could close windows from outside, front and rear electric windows
