What does this car say about you?

I am prepared to pay more for a more solid, well built car. 1.9 TDI engine for an 18 year old isn't bad I guess!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends love it as there is a lot of room in the back, Family love it as it is very safe - although the idea of me having an engine size of 1.0 was killing them!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. For the reasons I have already mentioned.

What are you likely to buy next?

Not really looking atm as I am happy with what I have now however it will most probably be a Volkswagen Golf mk5 GTI.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Price was a bit steep, could have probably bought a lower spec mk5 for the same money however the condition of the car was fantastic. Extremely clean and low mileage for age. Drives like new. Also the FDSH played a huge part in me buying the vehicle.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Parents have been through the whole golf range, from the mk3 onwards, they now have a mk7 GTD. It was only right I stick to the tradition. - Desirable Badge - Proven Reliability - Always liked the MK4's - Perfect spec i.e colour, spec etc. - FDSH and low miles for age.

What was the dealer like?

Very nice, opened the garage out of hours so I could view the vehicle. Offered me several test drives and was a generally nice guy. Went back to his house and had a cuppa!!

What's it like to drive?

Very good, drives with ease. Planted through the corners, very smooth. Goes through the gears perfectly.

What's it like to park?

V. easy - almost horizontal rear end is perfect for parking.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not one thing, I took it to Volkswagen to get a full health and safety check as well as service. Came back clean - which was a great feeling!

What's most practical about your car?

5 doors, size of the boot, how wide the doors open (almost 90 degrees) economical.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

A/C Self adjusting headlights (fitted by previous owner) Electric Windows front and rear.
