Did you get a good deal and why?

I think that it was a fair price and I managed to get a two-year servicing deal which will save me about £700.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I was keen on the powerful engine with supercharger and turbo.

What was the dealer like?

I have found them helpful, the salesman I dealt with was experienced. However, I am not so keen on on some of the younger salesmen.

What's it like to drive?

My previous car was a 1.4 Audi and I have to say that the MK6 Golf has a far superior chassis to the version used in the Audi).The Audi never felt particularly stable whereas the Golf has brilliant high and low speed stability and is particularly good when cornering. The engine is outstanding and you can certainly feel the extra grunt of the supercharger, the only down side is the economy. The lower powered Audi averaged 39mpg while the Golf has averaged 34mpg, this is certainly not a great car for urban driving.

What's it like to park?

Very easy.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The only problem I have is water getting into the electrics which caused the indicators to fail.

What's most practical about your car?

It is useful to be able to fold down the seats but all cars do that now!

Parking sensors worth their weight in gold!
