Unexciting but appreciate practicality.

Some near neighbours have bought one.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably because it is the best compromise for me and my partner.
What are you likely to buy next?
If not another Golf then a Toyota GT86. Alternatively keep the Golf and get a second (cheap classic) car.

Not great but not too bad after a bit of haggling.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Comfortable for me at 6ft5in, economical, practical and approved by my partner.
What was the dealer like?
Did not follow up my initial visit - I had to find the car with the spec I wanted myself on the VW website.

What's it like to drive?
Bland but comfortable.
What's it like to park?
Parking sensors help a lot.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Heating occasionally seems not to change with the switches but only after turning the engine off and back on. Today it would only give me hot air with the knob turned to cold! When I came back to it after being parked for a couple of hours it was fine.
What's most practical about your car?
5 doors, room for someone over 6ft in the back seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
None as good as the 1-series I had before.
