Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2013 - 2020) SE Navigation 1.4 TSI BMT 125PS DSG auto (03/17 on) 5d Owner Review

Have owned a number of VW Golf’s over the years in diesel and petrol editions. Have had issues with a previous new Golf which required amongst other things a new gearbox! Was put off buying a new Golf and purchased a hybrid Toyota. Wrong choice! Went back to VW Golf in March 2018 and have had no issues with the car at all. However, we have recently had the need to verify the warranty purchased at the time of sale via VW Customer Service Dept., who at the end of the day were slow to respond and failed to confirm our questions after nearly 6 weeks of communications. I ended up writing to the Managing Director before the issue was resolved and was advised that the Customer Services Dept., had access to the information we requested all the time! Not impressed. Would I buy another Golf? The jury’s out on that one!
