A brilliant car does everything well and the extra space over a Golf is a massive plus factor. If they still made then I would have bought another. The GT is a much better drive than the other versions and the 1.4 engine is surprisingly quick whilst being economical. The sliding rear seats allow you to fit extra luggage and still have good legroom for rear seat passengers. Finding a replacement car with the Gof SV GT's performance, economy and space is hard to find. BMW and Mercedes have similar size and performance in their range but lack Adaptive Cruise Contro, and having had ACC I would not be without it.
