The sole negative about owning this 2017 VW Jetta 1.4L 5M would be the factory dealership servicing costs.
The positives include the fuel efficiency plus the fun-to-drive aspect. The 5 speed manual shift transmission has well designed synchros which permit easy and accurate shifting. The clutch action is very light and the brakes are quiet, non-grabby and would appear to be showing very little wear.
How reliable do you find the car?
Summer 2017 purchase after VOA buyback of Jette TDI wagon.
Current odometer reads 46,000 - No issues to date. None.
