Value
Brilliant!!! Got mine for £5.5k, with leather interior etc. I settled for the auto due to Good value and low miles
Costs
Again, excellent running costs apart from scary parts! Use independent specialist places. I do and save £££'s on servicing and other stuff.

Handles very well for a car of its size. A joy to drive.
Performance
Not the fastest car in the world, however is good for diesel of it's size. Very smooth and confident

What can I say, it's a VW! :o) I really love the car.

Now superceded by new Passat, but I still love it and feel like chairman of the board when driving it.The wife loves it too, more than I do in fact.
Comfort
Impressive size inside, masses of headroom which is good for a driver of 6ft2in!! Did the occasional drive from Glasgow to Birmingham without the usual dead leg / pins and needles. Air con etc good on long drive. Kids got loads of room in the back.

Good Std system. Car was vandalised recently, the wee bgrs hit the windscreen x 4 and tried their best, but didnt get in or do any lasting damage.

VW good when you ask for help, although costs arm and leg
