Volkswagen Passat Saloon (2005 - 2010) 2.0 SEL TDI (170ps) 4d DSG Owner Review

having, over the years, driven the best of the best, i was amazed at the quality of this car, the looks, the finish, the comfort, above all the instantly responsive speed, in that alone it is the fastest i have ever owned !! what a pity vw are falling down so completely o a legitimate warranty claim. i detail my own cars, and this one gleams ! making me angry at vw for palming me off even though the 12 year corrosion warranty still has 3 years to run ! laying aside the corrosion issues, this is " one hell of a car " !! on the possible trepidation of depending on a dsg gearbox, dont even give it a second thought ! it is wonderful, and hurtles the car along seamlessly , leaving most other cars for dead ! could go on ( might just buy another one ), but suffice it to say "the germans build great cars, but , if anything goes wrong they will drop you like a bad habit !!!!
