Volkswagen Polo Hatchback (2000 - 2002) 1.4 SE (60ps) 5d Auto Owner Review

Good reliable run around! I’ve owned 2 the 16v 75bhp and the 1.4 mpi (60bhp) both were very reliable and when something did go wrong it was very cheap to fix. The mpi does roughly 38mpg combined. Not much storage room or cup holders but the car feels somewhat modern still and it’s not a bad looking car for it’s age. As you’d expect their old now and things wear out but those cars are realia me and very rarely let you down. Very durable engines and genuinely nice drive for a city car. Long trips aren’t too comfortable but it’s not the end of the world, driving experience overall ain’t bad. Would definitely recommend as first car of a second car but not a daily if you have a child.
