What does this car say about you?
I don't want to be a member of the "Jelly Mould" brigade as most people are with their "designed by computer" clones.....and it takes me back to the 80's....nice :-)
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think the Retro look allows the car to stand out in a crowd, even when amongst new "sporty" cars :-).Complete strangers chat to you in filling stations and say "I used to have one of those...great cars" !
Would you buy this car again and why?
Cheap,fun,easy to work on...no little black boxes and swathes of plastic covering the heart of the beast !

VW Scirocco 16V!

Did you get a good deal and why?
I was going to pay the fella £100 for the car as it had been fading away at the side of the road for almost 6 months.In the end It cost me the price of some diesel to pick it up !
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a good reliable,interesting car for not much money.

What's it like to drive?
Fun, and ....well fun :-)
What's it like to park?
Heavy as it has no power steering, but nice work out for the upper arms every day !

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch cable pulled through bulkhead (common problem).Has slight leak around window seal.
What's most practical about your car?
40Mpg,handles well,and it's fun !
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Having none of the pointless gadgets of modern cars is my favourite attribute. "Less is more" !
