Bought as a family bus, driven as a family bus; from newborn + 2 year old to 8 + 10 year old, the interior had survived two growing boys remarkably well. Lots of motorway and country driving each summer, when we often need every inch of the cavernous boot, it just keeps on going and shows no signs of pegging out. Annual service and routine repairs at an independent garage and that's about it. With about £1,000 per year of depreciation, the total annual cost of hassle free motoring is about as low as it gets.
