A decent car for the money had it for 7 years and done 91,000 miles in it.

Volvo parts can be expensive but not for 440s .

Driving
Ok at speed but heavy steering needs PAS.
Performance
Ok has enough power to get you out of any bother. Nothing blistering mind you.

Reliability
Apart from the normal bits wearing out never had any real problems and its never really let me down apart from when a voltage regulator failed but that was easy to fix.

Nothing startling and doesn't stand out from the crowd.
Comfort
Seats are very supportive.

No worries on this score never had any problems. Volvo 440s aren't really your average thief's favourite hot hatch.
Service
Volvo dealers are expensive I've used my local independent garage for any servicing I've needed. Much cheaper.

None. Renault engine tough as old boots.

Done over 90000 miles in this car and its never let me down. Time for a change now though.
