What a great car for the money.
Costs
As value and the MPG is second to none on a distance run.

Driving
Lovely car to drive. I have driven all day from South of France over 1000 miles with no problems.
Performance
It is a TD but it could do with a bit more umph to get it to 80+ but when it's there it will sit at that speed all day.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down. The Kermit (French) engine is very reliable - 237k and not a knock or oil burn yet!

It is the last in the line, before the upgrade to the V40s etc. I will keep the car until it dies of old age or until one of my kids want to drive it then I will pass it on, it's that good, but the tyres keep wearing out because of the mileage I do.
Comfort
I have a lower back problem. The lumbar supports in the seat is good for me.

It's the Volvo that no kid wants to drive, so I don't think the little t**ts are going to steal one of these.
