Did you get a good deal and why?

The car had been almost unused for a year, the person selling it needed the money to buy parts for an E-Type jag restoration he was doing. After viewing the car i snappd it up of Ebay for £1900.

I had always wanted one

What's it like to drive?

Its very quick as you would expect from a 2.3 5 cylinder 240 BHP turbo. Only criticism is the ultra low profile tyres and firm suspension, make it slightly hard over bumpy roads.

What's it like to park?

When parking, you have to guess where the rear bumper is.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The engine management light came on after a week. Had it checked, it showed the car had run lean on hard acceleration. It will need a mass air flow meter at some stage, a cost of £85. I had to replace the front tyres as i had a blow out at motorway speeds. The tyres where perished, due to it being stood for about a year, not a fault with the car.

What's most practical about your car?

I didnt buy it for practicallity. Its a big car with 4 seats and 2 doors. And its a saloon. The boot is very big.

The dolby surround sound 9 disc stereo.
