In their own words

2003 1.9D SE (105 bhp)

For a 19 year old car I can't fault it. It comes with all the mod cons such as, heated leather seats (which are extremely comfortable), fog lights, cruise control, climate control, heated mirrors, cd AND cassette player 😂.
It cruises along nicely on the motorway, with enough for over taking in reserve. My personal opinion is that it is pretty quiet for a diesel and the wind and tyre noise are at a minimum. I find the steering to be quite responsive for an older estate , however it isn't a drivers car so don't expect anything exciting.
Even though it's a smaller estate, it is still roomy enough for two medium sized dogs, or a set of golf clubs and trolley, with the option to fold the seats flat for anything on the bigger side.

There are a couple of little things that could have been improved - such as the shelf in the glove box preventing the storage of larger single items, the 12v socket is constantly live (even without the key in the ignition) so it's something to be mindful of, and the rear wiper requires a bit of modifying (filing back a bit of plastic) as it doesn't remain in constant contact with the window when in use.

Some nice little touches are, a couple of seat belt style straps in the cargo area - which are good for stopping anything sliding about such as shopping or luggage, the headlight wipers are a nice touch for keeping them clean and clear, there is no fuel release button in the cabin, it is instead linked to the central locking and is open when the car is unlocked and turned off - it's a sliding pin that engages when the car is either in motion or locked, lights above the vanity mirrors, a panic alarm on the key fob, ability to turn internal sensor off when locked to prevent the alarm from going off (ideal if you have left the dog in the car whilst popping in to pay for petrol), the option to have the headlights stay on for a few minutes when you get home as an added safety feature.

Overall a great car that does everything as it should.

How reliable do you find the car?

Had it less than a month, but I've covered nearly 1000 miles already including a 200 mile journey home on the day I bought it and it has performed well.
