In their own words

I was looking for an estate, but didn't want something "run of the mill" and didn't want a Mercedes (already owned one and I just don't like owning more than one of a particular car), didn't fancy a BMW and so Volvo became a car of interest. I only got to test drive the car around town and it was great. Smart looking, comfortable and commodious. And ownership has confirmed this. It's a comfortable cruiser and continues to look smart. My wife and our dog love being driven around Two issues. 1/ It's my first auto-box. I thought I'd be OK with it but it has simply served to confirm my dislike of autos 2/ A 1.6ltr engine simply isn't big enough for a car of this size, especially if you are coming down an engine size I swapped from an 18yr old Merc. C220Cdi and the Volvo just lacks the ooomph off the line and the kick in the back when overtaking. I'd have another V60 but it would have to be a 2ltr and manual
