My average daily commute is 30-35 miles so this Recharge xc40 with its claimed 30mile range seemed a sensible purchase despite it costing £thousands more than the ICE versions and while I am pleased with the quality of the car it struggles to achieve more than 20miles on electric power no matter how carefully I drive.
Seeing how the electric range of new models is increasing, it seems I just bought too early but having paid over £55,000 I’m stuck with it.
