Cadillac SRX Station Wagon (2007 - 2008) boot space, practicality and safety
The SRX wasn’t tested by Euro NCAP, however, it does come with six airbags (dual front, side and curtain), ABS, seatbelt pre-tensioners and Isofix-style child seat anchor points. Due to its sheer size, it’s unlikely to come off worse in an accident plus there’s also remote central locking, an immobiliser and alarm.
With all seven seats in use, there’s very little load space – just enough for a couple of small bags. The rear seats fold to create a large and practical flat load area. This is done electrically, by pushing a button in the boot, but you have to hold your finger on the button and they’re slow to fold. Inside, there’s a large glovebox and plenty of cubbies.
