Alfa Romeo's Giulietta now comes with an all-new company car tax-friendly diesel engine with low emissions.

The 2.0-litre 140bhp unit emits just 119g/km CO2, placing it in the 13% BIK tax bracket. This means on a Lusso version worth £20,750 you'll have to pay £45 per month in company car tax on the 20% pay scale and £90 each month on the 40% scale.

Fuel economy is good too, the Giulietta returning 62.8mpg on the combined cycle.
With figures like that you'd expect performance to suffer significantly, yet this Alfa still manages 62mph in nine seconds and a top speed of 127mph.

The car has a particularly long service interval too, needing a trip to the garage every 21,000 miles.

Prices start at £20,750 for the Lusso trim and go up to £22,050 for the Veloce trim.
