Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 36 - 54 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Fiat parts and servicing are reasonable, but the dealers don’t have the greatest reputation for customer care. The Doblo is fairly bullet proof though and there are few gadgets to go wrong, while economy is good on all models, especially the 1.3 MultiJet.

The early engines are especially green but the 1.3-litre MultiJet is a big improvement. It emits 137g/km of CO2 and is capable of 54mpg.

Fiat doesn’t have a great reputation for reliability but the Doblo seems to have fared well. We’ve only heard of a few minor problems and on the whole the car is proving durable and well built.
