Nissan Murano Estate (2008 - 2011) practicality
The Murano is fitted with electronic stability control and six airbags (front, side and curtain airbags) as standard. The four-wheel drive system improves traction in slippery conditions, and the Murano also comes with active head restraints which reduce the risk of whiplash injuries in low or medium speed crashes.
The Murano has a large luggage area and the rear seat-backs can fold forward in one easy movement to extend the flat load floor. The door bins are generously sized and there are a few other storage areas in the cabin. A rear-view camera helps with parking - useful in such a big car - as well as a camera mounted in the nearside door mirror to protect those alloy wheels from being scuffed.
The Murano also comes with a special paint coating that can repair light scratches itself. Light scratches, such as those made by bushes or grime being rubbed into the paint surface disappear in hours or days depending on the air temperature - heat is required for the repair to take place.
