Nissan Primera Saloon (1999 - 2002) practicality
A mediocre three-star Euro NCAP rating means that it's an average performer in its class. However, with standard ABS, dual front airbags and optional side airbags, it also has most of the safety equipment expected of this generation. It's quite secure too, with an effective alarm and immobiliser (except on E), remote central locking and a sophisticated anti-hijack feature.
There's a generous boot/load space, which can be improved by folding down the rear seats. The cabin is laced with clever touches.
