Overview

Nissan has broadened its family car line-up with a seven-seater based on the successful Qashqai. The Qashqai+2 is an extended and taller version of the car launched in the UK in 2007 – and comes with a third row of seats. But despite the extra weight Nissan was keen that the Qashqai+2 would feel no different on the road from the five-seat version. Like the standard car it received a refresh with a new front end, less weight, tweaked suspension, more sound insulation and a few more colour choices.

The Qashqai is comfortable on the move and easy to drive, plus it comes with the same choice of refined engines. The third row seats aren’t really intended for adults, but that’s no different from many compact seven-seat people carriers. In March 2010 it was facelifted with a more aggresisve front end, plus there were improvement to the suspension and sound insulation.
