Proton Satria Hatchback engines, drive and performance
2000 - 2003
(change model)

1.5 is okay as a manual, but only the 1.8 GTi is really any good and that’s too expensive. Even the 1.3 uses too much fuel and is expensive to insure.
1.6 and 1.8 models benefit from Lotus suspension tweaks; plenty of grip, little understeer; light, well balanced power steering. Tiring on a long trip.
