Rover 75 Saloon (99-04) rivals
Overview
The 75 weighs in against aspirational rivals such as 3-Series, Lexus IS and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, next to which it looks middle-aged. But it’s a step up from Mondeo and Vectra status-wise, and falling prices make it a classy alternative. 75 has a fine pedigree and is refined, respectable, composed and comfortable. The Tourer estate and the MG ZT/ZTT spin-offs have helped to raise the 75’s image still further.
