What is miles per pound?

Fuel economy

A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test. Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 37 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Insurance and service costs aren’t bad, but service intervals are short and it’s not the most economical. We don’t expect it to fend off depreciation with much vigour, either.

CityRover is relatively green and easy on the environment. With an average of 167 g/km CO2 across the line-up, its emissions are quite low for a super mini hatchback. It’s worth noting that the line-up does not feature any diesel models, which typically produce less carbon dioxide than petrol engines with similar power outputs. The range is not particularly economical, averaging 37 mpg.

Engine is generally reliable and the rest of the car is built to handle rough Indian roads so should be mechanically durable. Trim may be less robust but it should keep on working.
