The driver sits very high up with a commanding view of the road ahead. The driving position is good, with adequate seat adjustment, though the steering wheel only adjusts for height. Forward visibility is good, although when fully loaded the rear view can get very restricted, although large mirrors partially compensate for this. Most of the buttons and switches are in easy-to-reach places, although there are a few that are rather awkwardly placed.

The look and feel of the cabin is dated too and the finish isn’t particularly good either.

A big plus point is that Rodius carries seven (seating is 2:2:3) in comfort with luggage. Few people carriers on the market can claim that. That’s because the Rodius was designed to have space to carry 11 for its home market of Korea, although this version will never come to the UK. There’s plenty of head and legroom all round and adequate shoulder room in the first two rows.

The diesel engine can be quite noisy at speed and there’s noticeable wind noise though.
