The driver sits quite high and has a good view of the road with excellent visibility to the rear. Most major controls are within easy reach and the audio system is quite easy to use. It is integrated into the car and does not involve the repeated fumbling and prodding needed for some budget manufacturers’ after-market fit systems. The quality of materials is also comparable with mainstream mass market manufacturers.

The Ignis is roomy enough to seat four adults in comfort, with supportive seats, although three adults in the rear would be a tight squeeze. The rear seats also have a reclining adjustment. Engine noise is unobtrusive in normal driving, although does get noisy at higher revs, and both wind noise and road noise are subdued at speed.
