In their own words

This model came with the live cockpit and took a lot of getting used to. Lots of information but you have to know how to find it. When you finally get sorted its a pleasant experience driving both in town and on motorways. Mine is the MHEV and to be fair returns excellent mpg, on a motorway at 70 its in the low 60s and round town high 30s to low 40s. Disappointing that you have to pay a subscription for connected drive, and extras like speed camera warning. No lane departure warning and no blind spot monitoring is pretty poor when just about every other manufacturer offers these as standard. Tyres will set you back about 1k. Its a real love hate relationship, it is a brilliant car and carries four adults with luggage in total comfort, but silly little things like not recognising the driver profile on entry and over the air updates whether you want them or not cause frustration. Do I like it yes its my 5th 5 series, will I buy another 5, probably not.
