BMW 5-Series Saloon (2017 - 2024) 530d xDrive SE auto 4d Owner Review

Having had company cars most of my life it’s taken me to the age of 63 to own this BMW 530D - mpg on motorway touches 48 and go gently around town / country etc over 40 no bother. The engine growl is awesome, I prefer the soft ride of an SE it’s just superb this car. It’s quiet, fast when needed and has many great extras, sports seats for me a must but this car has comfort seats with a massage option incredible, I’m fitting 19” alloys soon as it needs that, my previous SE had 19” alloys perfect ride not hard at all. When you buy used it’s sometimes difficult to find the right spec that you want but being a bmw fan I’d recommend Sports seats it has the extra leg support great for long journeys, wireless phone charging is great, 19 wheels no more as your ride is compromised……I know there are 3-4 times more M Sports sold over SE but other than the cosmetics I don’t get it M Sport I feel is too hard and jiggly - just my opinion. So in summary if you are a 3 Series driver please please if you can move up to a 5 you’ll understand why when you do it.
