  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Poor residual values, shop around for a bargain, some dealers seem too dear though.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Expensive on tyres if driven hard, and a 6k service is recommended to keep this engine tip-top.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Annoying due to all the interior rattles and squeaks!

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

Surprisingly poor for it's looks and the size of engine. It has to be pushed hard into the red to get any real punch from the engine. Very lacking in low down grunt, and you WILL be left standing at the lights, and last to the finish!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Poor, various problems reported. Engine faults, suspension, steering, bearings, interior, air bags, all at fault within 12,000 miles! And i've owned 2 that have similar faults at similar intervals!

    Image

    5 out of 5 5.0

Stunning ferrarri good looks, and a real head turner. To be individual dont buy the dilver one though! If you can put up with the faults, this is a posers car!

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Long motorway journeys are fine, short runs require frequent re-adjustment if the driving position. Leather squeaks and is too hot and sticky in the summer. But I guess that's the same for most cars.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Never touched!

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Appaling service from the manufacturer and several dealerships. i've owned three now and all have had serious manufacturing defects spotted within two weeks of purchase from new, with one car being in for service for upto 3 weeks! Poor at diagnosis!

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Rattles, lacking in performance, heavy on petrol, but still a pretty bullet proof engine.

    Other

Not worth the money, heavy on insurance, running costs, high depreciation. Buy a mk2, they are far better for quality and the engine seems punchier due to the lighter body. After sales is extremely poor. It does look the muts nuts though!

Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
