Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, great value for money, having practicality and sports car design. I drive without being jealous of other cars. This car is an icon and will be a future classic.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, price was negotiated and reduced by around £1000, whilst car had less than 10,000 miles on the clock.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

Very friendly, down-to-earth and non-judgemental. Very accommodating and went out of his way to treat me with a high level of respect. Test drive was around half an hour long.

What's it like to drive?

Great handling, smooth gear changes and smooth engine. Acceleration peaks at top of rev range and has lower torque than other cars but very enjoyable in high rev range. Bumpy at low speeds, but smooths out at motorway cruising. Loud road noise on motorways.

What's it like to park?

Limited rear view but you get used to it.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, 4th gear syncro broke fairly early on; after repair under warranty it subsequently had a gearbox oil leak because of a crack in the casing, which a Mazda dealership failed to repair after repeated attempts until the entire casing was replaced after months of hardship. Now car is perfect.

What's most practical about your car?

Four comfortable, useable seats and a decent sized boot in a stylish sports coupe, nothing else like it.
