What does this car say about you?

At the moment, it says trendsetter. But in 6 months time I dare say that it will say "salesman"!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone loves the look of it. The word stunning keeps coming up. People look at you enviously as you drive it, but as I said before, this will probably change in 6 months time

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably because it is big enough, probably cheap enough and definatley good looking enough

Its will be a while off but maybe this again

Did you get a good deal and why?

I've bought the car through a company car ownership scheme so got an epic discount. Not allowed to say how much though. Lets just say that you wouldn't get that sort of discount from a dealer!!!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I have taken this car for an extended test drive - on which this review is based - and have ordered the car because of this

What's it like to drive?

You can certainly tell that it's a diesel by the sound of it. Not noisy but definately not quiet. The engine is very smooth and you barely even feel the turbo as it kicks in, unlike the 1.9 Vauxhall diesel. The car is very very quick but doesn't feel it - which is a bit of a worry as I kept finding myself exceeding the speed limit without realising. Handling is very good; stable and controlled in corners. The steering is very light but not too light at speed, although the lightness means it loses some of that stability if you hit lumps and bumps in the road. Around town the size of it isn't as daunting as the Mondeo, but the bonnet length is a little hard to judge

What's it like to park?

ok. Parking sensors are a must as the veiw out the back is poor and it's hard to judge where the car ends

What's most practical about your car?

The built in sat nav, which is far far better than the one that the Vectra used to have and just embarrasses the one on the Mondeo

Either the sat nav or the absolutely essential parking sensors
