What does this car say about you?

Can't afford a proper car. Or I never leave the town and don't understand how the buses work.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Didn't have it for long. A lot of people found it funny, which it is, but in a goodish way.

Would you buy this car again and why?

If I can rent another car I would. I don't need a car often which is why I rent, when I do it is often for long distance or load lugging. The Matiz isnt ideal for the motorway however amusing it might seem at first.

What are you likely to buy next?

If I rent again Ford Ka or Vauxhall Astra. If I was buying myself a Fiat Panda

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Surprisingy fun. It seemed nippy , agile and fairly composed even at 60-70 mph on a variety of roads. Obviously slow and every gradient was noticable as was every cross wind and gradient. It seemed happiest at 60, a speed it would revert to it I stopped paying attention. The driving position is cramped (I'm over 6 ft, play rugby and cycle so not surprising) and the seats hard but not horribly so. Vision is good. Some controls feel like they are not attached to anything. The best word for the pedals, hand brake and notchy gear stick is floppy but they all work.

    What's it like to park?

Tiny turning circle, good visability, smallest car I've ever parked. I could probably do it with my eyes closed.

Have you had any problems with the car?

the car was fine, nothing went wrong while i had it.

What's most practical about your car?

5 doors. Everything went on the back seat.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It dosent really have one. The Radio/CD player found it very hard to pick up reception, after I put some CDs in the quality was ok.
