What does this car say about you?

I'll take function over so called form anyday. If you have kids and stuff? Then function is paramount. But it helps that the new Berlingo looks have improved.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

When I told them I was getting a Berlingo. I got the 'But it's a van with windows' comments. But as soon as I showed them it. They were suitably impressed. Even to the point of considering one.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, yes I would. Where do I start? * Great economy * Great to drive * Masses of space inside * Great practicality * Great deal at the dealers

What are you likely to buy next?

I think I'll keep this for as long as is feesable. Then I'll get another.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Ah, the most important part. If I'm honest and I am. It's a pleasure. It copes exceedingly well with speed bumps, potholes and is as smooth as some luxury cars I've driven. I have the 110bhp and it pulls away well and is pretty quiet even at high speeds. It also handles itself well around corners and bends.

    What's it like to park?

Nice light steering and light controls. With there being lots of glass, visibility is very good.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Well it's early days in truth but it looks like a solid build inside and out.

What's most practical about your car?

It's becoming something of a cliche, but in truth it is immense inside and that's just with the seats in place. Seats out, it's bigger again. You can get everything you need inside and more.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Internal roof rack is good. Huge tailgate is a help. Versatility of the seats is good also.
