What does this car say about you?

Probably that I care about the environment, don't eat meat and aren't much interested in cars generally. All not true, this is just for commuting, I own another car for fun.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    It doesn't generate many comments.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Possibly, it's perfectly fine as a runaround.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another really cheap anonymous tin box (as a commuter that is)

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Performance is adequate, ride is superb (seats and general comfort is excellent on the whole). Steering is light but with plenty of feel, there's good handling and the car is actually a lot of fun to drive. The biggest drawback is refinement; the C1 is quite noisy, particularly on the motorway. The little 3 cylinder engine emits a comical supercar like growl when accelerating.

    What's it like to park?

OK, although visibility behind is not that good for a modern car.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Totally reliable, but there a few things I don't like about it; there's no boot light, it has the worst locking petrol cap I have ever experienced, the metal prongs in boot appear to have been designed to rip shopping bags open, and a fuel computer in an economy car should be essential - why doesn't the C1 have one?

What's most practical about your car?

Very roomy inside considering the car's size.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I-Pod connector, although it is only the headphone lead type, meaning the volume has to be turned up to maximum on the motorway, a proper USB would be much better.
