What does this car say about you?

    That I have no money!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Hmm, mixed response. The girls find It "cute", male friends find It... ridiculous, and family find It practical. They bought the car for me to be practical In terms of cheap to run, so they would think this!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely not. This really Is a beginners car If bought for general purpose. Its very easy to out-grow this. If I moved to Italy and had to travel through 6ft wide alleys as roads, then maybe...

What are you likely to buy next?

Ive already got my new car, Its an upgade by far. It has everything I wanted In my old car. PAS, 5drs, a better gear stick, foot room between pedals and also the speed... Its an Astra 1.4i LS Hi-Torq. Pretty much the maximum I can afford to run right now, but Im pleased with it. It feels like a Roles Royce now!

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £470

When did you buy the car?

    December 2006

Did you get a good deal and why?

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It was given to me as a gift. I was told It was chosen for "cheap" running costs all round; Insurance, MPG ect ...

    What was the dealer like?

  • Driving it

    1 out of 5 1.0

    What's it like to drive?

Fun at first. Really feels like a "big" Go-Kart. Although over longer distances, and even longer country roads, expect to be over-taken by everything! The lack of PAS makes it hard work, especially with the oversized Indicator sticks getting In the way. Too many times I quickly manouvered only to set off the wind-screen wipers...

    What's it like to park?

Easy as It gets... Well, maybe the models up with PAS. Other than that I don't think there's many road cars that beat It for that.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

What didn't go wrong...At first there was the electrical faults. things seemed to be shorting regularly; bulbs, certain systems like the Fuel Gauge. The likely solution would be an earthing, but this wasn't the case... Probably a break somewhere causing them to short.

What's most practical about your car?

The Mileage you can get from It! This Is definitely the camel of cars. A tenner of petrol will get you far .... Of course parking was good for It's size, although not the most practical point, due to the fact there's no room inside... I can sit comfortably In terms of leg reach, but no one else In the back can!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Hmmmmm. Probably the radio. Which I bought myself... This car has no gadgets!
