Ford victim, purchased a car without doing adequate research.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That my 3 children were very lucky their mum managed to get them out of a burning car with no injuries.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No! electrical problems happen and the fire seems an extreme one off but the response i got when calling fords customer relations complaints department was they don't care and wont even look at the car as its with the insurance company awaiting valuation for a total loss payout by their engineers.
What are you likely to buy next?
Volvo v70 d5 or t6.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Xenons only pointing down, Alarm randomly sounding for no reason, Trim fell off near side passenger door, caught fire near interior light due to faulty electrics with 3 kids onboard causing car to be written off!
What's most practical about your car?
How ford wash their hands of an 08 car just over a year out of warranty with 62000 miles on the clock.
