Picked mine up for a grand. What a bargain. So much performance for so little, a real pleasure to own.
Costs
These are getting old and rare, so finding spare parts is getting harder, but some around being broken for spares.

Driving
This is one quick car a drives like a go-kart. Power steering is only missed when parking, but get going and you forget it doesn't have it.
Performance
Amazing. It's a true pocket rocket. I've outrun most things in it; best 1600 I have ever seen! With Honda's multipoint injection system, it's really hard to beat. Can't wait 'til I next get to drive it.

Reliability
Even with the recent snow, mine starts first time every time. It's a Honda - what do you expect?

Cruisers think it's a car to be done up, real enthusiasts know its real value.
Comfort
Back seats are tiny, so when the kids reach four or five it's either them or the car - I'd go for the car every time! Front seats hold you in place and are comfy, just not adjustable enough.

Never needed them, but family has always rated them highly.

Engine
No probs. Pumps out so much power. Find as low a milleage one as you can and it will last for ever.
Other
Those boot gas cyclinders usually don't work and finding replacements is hard. Heard you can get them refilled though?
