Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I previously owned a 3 litre XF which I liked and was a little concerned that the 2 litre model would feel underpowered, the fact is that I hardly noticed the difference. I regularly drive to Spain and have been really impressed by the economy, up to 60 mpg at motorway speeds and in such comfort that I am hardly tired at the journey's end. Although it is a Portfolio varient, there are less luxuries as standard than my previous Premium Luxury varient which is a little disappointing but, having said that, I didn't use most of those I did have. The car has always run faultlessly but the rear brakes wore out at 41,000 miles with no warning lights displayed, necessitating the fitting of new discs but this I blame on the dealer for not warning me to replace the pads before the next routine service. At the recent MOT there were no issues and I made the point of asking the tester if the front pads needed replacing; they didn't. I consider the XF to be a really good luxury car and would recommend the diesel to anyone who does longish journeys.
