When I was younger I had a string of new XJ’s and loved them. So when I retired in 2021 I thought I’d treat myself to a ‘new’ old one. The car I bought was in immaculate condition with just 47K miles and a FSH and I paid £12K. It’s now on 73K miles and hasn’t missed a beat! It looks and drives like the day it came out of Browns Lane.
How reliable do you find the car?
O2 sensors were playing up when I bought it but my independent Jaguar garage sorted that out and gave it a full A service. After that it’s just been new tyres.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It’s a wonderful motor car
