What does this car say about you?

That I'm smarter than the follow the crowd into buying a more mainstream make of car. As the Picanto advert used to say "The thinking person's car" and the Cee'd advert "Designed to change your mind" - it's certainly changed mine.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it and several have mistaken it for a VW Golf!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. I'm hoping to buy an Eco_Cee'd next as the MPG is even higher. My Cee'd has a fantastic MPG (regularly 60MPG) and an industry leading warranty - I'd be mad to buy any other car make. My days of badge snobbery are long behind me.

Eco_Cee'd - 72+MPG!!!

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a good p/z price for my previous car and the diesel Cee'd for the price of the petrol model. I also had front and rear parking sensors fitted, rear spoiler, mudguards all round and boot protector strip.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

1. Low insurance group. 2. 7 year warranty. 3. Excellent MPG. 4. Good list price. 5. New vehicle with good looks.

What was the dealer like?

Very good. I'd never bought a brand new car before and I was talked through all the terms and stages of the purchase.

What's it like to drive?

Great! It's very smooth, very quiet and most people that have been a passenger in it have been surprised that it's a diesel. It's very comfortable on long journeys too. The suspension is firm, which I prefer to a 'splashy' ride.

What's it like to park?

With the parking sensors - a doddle!

Have you had any problems with the car?

When I got the car I noticed marker pen on the back of the front passenger seat. The seat back was replaced under warranty. I also had a problem with the radio unit 'crashing'. This was also replaced under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

7 year warranty and excellent miles per gallon. I drive between 600 and 800 miles per week so spend a fair amount of time in the car. It's a spacious and comfortable place to be.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It comes with a USB, AUX port and ancillary power socket but I have to say that the best gadgets by far are the parking sensors.
