In their own words

The Kia Niro First Edition has a very high spec, including leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, memory for driver's seat, parking sensors and rear-view camera, and a sliding sunroof. It is a comfortable car to drive for a longer journey, and, having an automatic 6-speed gearbox is supremely easy to drive. As a PHEV, when braking or coasting, the Li battery is recharged from recovered energy, so increasing the car's efficiency. The car steers well and predictably, and can be quicker off the mark than you might imagine. The insurance category for the First Edition is group 12, so insurance is very reasonable. It is a useful car both in town and for longer journeys. I can recommend the car. As usual with Kia, it benefits from a 7 year warranty, which also covers the Li battery and can be transferred to a new owner. The long warranty helps to give peace of mind. As for servicing, I recommend always taking a Kia car to an official Kia dealer. This will avoid any warranty issues later. There is a choice of paying 'as you go' for each service, or buying a fixed term plan of 2 or 3 years from Kia.
