I should have bought a BMW 3-series.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it's funny how much I hate it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Never. An E250cdi replacement car we had when the C-class was being repaired (again) was a nice motor though - the engine was surprisingly much smoother than the C220.

What's it like to drive?

The car is hardly 'sporty'. The engine is rough and unrefined, albeit relatively powerful. Brakes are unspectacular. Steering wheel is the size of a truck's and made of hard plastic. It's not in the same league as a BMW 320d (a previous car we've owned)

Parking sensors work well

Have you had any problems with the car?

The diesel injectors have failed multiple times. Once this resulted in the car cutting out upon joining a motorway. Last time the car broke down it had just been 'repaired' by the Mercedes main dealer that morning! A C180 courtesy car I was given had dodgy brakes too, they only worked intermittently!

What's most practical about your car?

It's got 4 doors

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

COMAND system is good, but you can't use a full postcode.
