I like MG's.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They had their reservations given the past experiences of MG, and sadly for them they were right. I've had nothing but bother, and MG ain't interested.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Sadly not. Main reason is the amount of issues Ive had. Its one thing after another. Auto Express have been informed, as well as my finance company. The car is inferior!

Did you get a good deal and why?
I felt I dis get a good deal. I saved £850 on list price, this was due to the car being registered by the dealer to allow them to take it to a show. The car had 85 miles on the clock.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I love the MG and Rover brands, and especially liked the look of the new generation MG's.
What was the dealer like?
They seemed friendly, didn't have any bother with them,.

What's it like to drive?
Fab to drive. Nippy, and has lots of power.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Well where do i start! Door seal issue. Clunk when accelerating - diagnosed as a Torque setting issue - FIXED Niggly Squeal - Only does it when the engine is warm, and at certain speeds, for me at speeds between 50-60mph. - Dealer diagnosed fault as being a "Belt Issue". belt replaced, it snapped 3 days later! new belt fitted, and niggly squeal reappeared!! As yet no fix. Airbag lights - 3 visits to the dealer to eventually get this issue resolved. Leather Seat - Drivers seat is flaking - MG classing it as "Wear and Tear" after 13 months! Clunk when going over bumps - Diagnosed by independent engineer as being the rubber grommet not settling back into place after wheels being turned. Rust on the roof, yep you read correctly, RUST! As well as cracked paint under the lacquer.

Nothing is a favourite, I like the Spec the car comes with.
